The foundation works hard to raise funds to support the research of Dr. A. James Moser. Currently, extensive surgical procedures such as the Whipple operation offer patients with early stage pancreatic cancer the best chance for survival. Through their use of computer modeling and genetic analysis of tumors, Dr. Moser and his team were the first to demonstrate that this may no longer be the case. They are striving to make the science of choosing therapy for pancreatic cancer more exact and allow new treatments to be introduced more rapidly for patients at high risk.
